Festive Jewellery - Easy Bracelets, Pendants and Earrings
Christmas jewellery can be very easy to make using everyday beads such as seed bead, bicones and crystal puffy rondelles and make lovely little stock-fillers. Multi-hole beads such as the diamonduos are ideal for creating snowflake and star-like shapes for jewellery which are perfect for the festive season but can also be worn at other times..
Pearl and Angel Earrings
These pretty little earrings are so easy to make and would suit everyone. We used 2 Swarovski 6mm crystal pearls in pearlescent white, 2 20x14mm angel charms, 2 eyepins, 2 45mm jump rings and a pair of fish hook earrings. To make up the earring attach the angel charm to the look of the eyepin with the jump ring. Thread the pearl on an eyepin and make a loop. Then open the loop on the bottom of an earring finding. Attach it to the loop on the top of the eyepin and close the loop to secure.
Santa Claus Earrings
These very cute Santa Clause earrings were made using Swarovski beads and pearls for maximum sparkle and a touch of luxury. We used 2 Swarovski 10mm round beads in light siam, 2 8mm Swarovski pearls in pearlescent white, 2 Swarovski 6mm crystal rondelles, 2 Swarovski 6mm light siam bicones, 2 4mm light siam bicones and 2 3mm white opal bicones. We also used 4 50mm headpins and a park of fish hook earrings.
To make up the earrings first thread a 3mm bicone and 2 4mm bicones on a headpin and make a loop on the headpin. Then thread a 10mm round bead onto another headpin. Follow this with a pearl, rondelle and a 6mm bicone. Thread the loop of the first headpin onto the top of the second headpin and then make a loop at the top of the second headpin. Open the loop on the bottom of the earring finding. Then attach it to the loop on the second headpin and close the loop to secure.
