Easy CzechMates Crescents Projects

The CzechMates crescents are one of the most popular multi-hole beads in the CzechMates range.  We have some lovely easy CzechMates crescents projects for you from the Starman TrendSetters.  We also have over 80 gorgeous colours for you to choose from.

These very popular multi-hole beads have 2 holes and measure 3x10mm.  Their flat curved shape gives them a unique shape and they are surprisingly versatile.  They have the same distance between the holes as the rest of the CzechMates and are designed to work with them to give lots of design opportunities.  For example, they work well with the CzechMates cabochons and lentils.

You can make some beautiful and unusual jewellery with the CzechMates crescents.  We have some lovely easy projects for you from the Starman TrendSetters to show you just some of the ways that these unusual beads can be used.

Our first project is these pretty Golden Gate Bracelet.  This bracelet is a variation on a cross-weave bracelet but the addition of the crescent gives it an altogether different look.  The designer also shows you how you can use the crescents  to make a distinctive clasp.

This fun Lacy Links bracelet with crescents and Toho demi-rounds is also easy to make.  You can just make the narrow version on the right.  You can also add extra demi-rounds to make the double version on the left.

You can use the crescents to create lovely circular designs.   The Golden Horizons necklace, for example, shows you how you can easily make these circular shapes and then just link them together with small round and seed beads and embellish with more little seed beads.

Finally, the beads in the CzechMates range are designed to enable you to combine them.  You can, for example, create circular designs like this very pretty Chrysanthemum pendant by using 6 x 3 mm 2-hole CzechMates lentils to create a lovely edging.  The colours for the pendant create a very delicate effect but  try changing the colours if you like more dramatic colourways.  For example, the Chrysanthemum Bracelet uses saturated metallic shades.

Try pairing the CzechMates crescents with other CzechMates to create interesting combinations.  The bracelet below shows links created by combining the CzechMates crescents with the 7mm CzechMates cabochons.  You can then link these motifs together to make a pretty bracelet.
