We now have a collection of Les Perles par Puca wooden bases. These are unusual and high quality bases for beading. The projects include pendants, beaded beads and pin-cushions and would make lovely gifts. They’re designed by Annick Puca, the Parisian designer and founder of Les Perles par Puca.
Les Perles par Puca Wooden Bases
These bases are high quality and are made in France. The collection is new but we are sure there will be more to follow. We have some great projects from Annick Puca to show you some of the ways that these Perles par Puca wooden bases can be used. The projects have detailed step-by-step guides with colour patterns so you can try something new with Les Perles par Puca.
Projects with the Wooden Bases
The Kaly Pendant showcases the new Kalos par Puca beads in two colours. It uses the Jim wooden base which is 25x13mm.
This lovely Kalo Beaded Bead features the Arcos par Puca beads. It also uses the very handy new small 4x3mm Kalos beads which are perfect for delicate work like this and curved surfaces . This uses the John wooden base which is 25x27mm. If you wish, you can paint the wooden base. The finished Kalo beaded bead makes a lovely long necklace and would also make a great bag charm.
Pin cushions are always a great gift for a beady friend – or yourself. The pretty Kira Pin Cushion below uses the Joe cloche wooden base which measures 21x30mm. The top of the pincushion is edged with the Kalos beads. The bases is made with the large Delos par Puca beads. You can finish the bottom of the base with felt or attach a magnet to make sure it is always at hand!
We also have another lovely pin cushion design. The Soleil Pin Cushion uses the James wooden base which measures 55x10mm. It again features the Arcos beads which are combined with the Kalos and Piros par Puca beads to create an ornate base reminiscent of the sun.
Our final project is the Jodie Secret Box! This is a beautiful varnished wooden box with a removable lid. It measures 40x30mm. The large Delos par Pucas are this time used to embellish the lid and are combined with the Piros and little Minos beads. You can either just add a trmming to the side or you can bead the bottom of the box with delicas using peyote.
These are just some of the ways that Les Perles par Puca wooden bases can be used so try coming up with some other options.
